Meet Lucy Davis Haynes

Lucy Davis Haynes started selling Worth for reasons like many others, she needed a little extra income, but it has instead become so much more than that. Lucy gets to live up to her mother’s legacy, co-founder Caroline Davis. Getting to work with her mother every day is just one of Lucy’s favorite parts of the job – see what else she loves most.

Why did you start selling Worth?

I started selling Worth part time in Memphis, but honestly got serious about my business in 1994 when my husband and I moved to Nashville. Before I could start looking for a 'real job' I learned I was pregnant with twins. I couldn't imagine job hunting with a high risk pregnancy - but knew we needed a second income. Worth to the rescue! I have never looked back.

What are your favorite Worth pieces from over the years?

I have so many favorite pieces. I wear jeans pretty much every day, so the Chloe jeans from a few years back were a hit with me personally and with clients. I think I sold 34 pairs!! I have to say that I treasure my drawers full of Worth scarves and wear one almost every day in the Fall/Winter. I love teaching clients how to wear them. I would be scared to count how many I have! Finally, I have far too many Worth leather jackets. I love pairing them with my aforementioned blue jeans. Nothing better than jeans, a Worth cashmere turtle, a Worth leather jacket and a scarf!

Who are your style icons?

Diane Manley of course. How does she do it season after season? How does she know what we need and can sell? And, my daughter (theverycarrie.com). Others (mainly from my blog crushes) include: Lauren Santo Domingo, Jenna Lyons and Olivia Palermo.
