In Women We Believe

Meet Wendy Nguyen

Wendy, widely known for her blog Wendy’s Lookbook, is a fashionista, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Having been in the foster system until the age of 18, Wendy has made it her goal to provide mentorship to those coming from a similar background.

This made her the perfect partner for In Women We Believe! From August 24th through September 30th, a portion of the proceeds from sales through this page will be donated to Wendy’s Lookbook Foundation! Shop the collection now and read more about Wendy below.

Though her upbringing was difficult, Wendy graduated from high school with honors and continued on to the University of California, Berkeley where she graduated with a degree in psychology. Both during and after college, Wendy volunteered as a counselor at the Berkeley Free Clinic and Harding Elementary. After graduation she began volunteering with the San Francisco Juvenile Detention Center. Currently she works with InsideOutWriters and has her own foundation – the Wendy’s Lookbook Foundation.

Wendy was able to find herself through fashion and has come to a place in her life where she can help others. Like Worth New York, Wendy understands that it takes a community to be successful. We are so excited to be partnering together on our In Women We Believe Campaign to learn more about Wendy’s experience with mentorship and her foundation.
